History of the GDR

The GDR3545 on “G Protein-coupled Receptors : from physiology to drugs (RCPG-Physio-Med)” was created in 2012 and renewed in 2016 by the CNRS. The GDR3545 is affiliated to the “Institut des sciences biologiques” (INSB) and the “section 28” “Pharmacology, bio-engineering, imaging, biotechnology” of the Comité National de la Recherche Scientifique.

The GDR3545 is composed of approximately 600-700 members working in 65 research teams from different research organizations (CNRS, Inserm, CEA, INRA, etc.). These teams are affiliated to 7 out of 9 different ITMO (Instituts thématiques multi-organismes) with fields of interest ranging from chemistry, to cell biology, physiology, immunology, infectious diseases, structural biology, molecular modeling, systems biology and pharmacology.

The GDR3545 is currently directed by Ralf Jockers (Institut Cochin, Paris).
